Go There For The Blonde Girls

When we first got there, our waitress was just taking something out to a diner on the patio, so we followed her in. Already I was kind of put off by the look of the place - more like someone's house. The place looked like it had not seen a good clean in quite some time. But, I felt I would let it slide because I was rendezvousing with a beautiful lady friend. Maybe they were going for a really old pub look? I don't know. We were told we could sit anywhere we liked (there had to be maybe two other patrons there) so I decided to go for the booth right beside the windows with the view. When I sat down, it was quite uncomfortable. Not somewhere I would want to be sitting for any expensive period of time. As well, it was absolutely freezing in there. It has been getting pretty cool the last few weeks and I would think that like most restaurants at least the good ones which I go to would adjust their thermostat. erm ,no. Once again, I will let this slide. Before the waitress leaves, she takes our drink order (wine list is limited go for brew) and will take my girlfriend's when she gets back from the washroom. Sure enough, she did get both our drinks quite promptly. From there on, everything was OK and the place started to fill up and get warmer. Surprisngly, quite a few ladies came in and some were actually cute and fashionable. Thats what I call a pub.

A Poor Choice on Robson In The Area

Don't waste your money. We had lunch and had several problems: the food was extremely slow to arrive perhaps to help sell more drinks, but they don't have the ambiance, waitresses or feel for drinks. They couldn't tell the difference between rare steak and well done steak, and even the pop was messed up. The waitresses are dressed like its a family restaurant. In the same area Keg, Cactus Club and Earls give you much better value for your eyes, as well as food. It is overrated , and not worth the money.
The service was adequate but much better at other restaurants. They really have to improve themselves before people come back in groups or order drinks.

A group of six of us went for dinner and had a truly wonderful evening. We sat in the middle of the action and saw the wonderful flurry of activity that are the waitresses. The atmosphere was lively without being intrusive and the service was first rate. Our waitress was attentive, cute and very accommodating. The food (between the six of us we had a pretty good mix of sea-foods and meat dishes) was perfectly prepared, as per our requests, was hot and attractively presented. The wine list is extensive and you should have no problem finding something that will suit your palate. The pretty waitress had a good handle on it. We had a couple of bottles of the house red which I think was a Sumac Ridge blend and thoroughly enjoyed it. Boy they need more of these. These ladies in their short dresses are just the perfect nightcap.
A couple of people in our party had always wanted to try this restaurant and they were not disappointed.

We chose to have the all you can eat option which is more expensive than i thought but it is AYCE after all so you basically have unlimited food for a fixed price, nothing wrong with that!
But their service is not frequent, the waiters are not coming around often with their stick of meat and not making sure you always have something on your plate.. it does overwhelm when you are tempted to get more because you are hungry or because you think they will not return soon.
I didnt like the ambiance, it was plain and when they have music playing the dancers werent super hot which is supposed to enhance the dining experience if you are into that live and loud environment.
Come hungry and pace yourself because dont make the same mistake i did where i had to literally carry myself when the night was over. But it takes time. Also, some tall, skirted staff would help. Thanks
