Decent korean BBQ
Submitted Tuesday, February 10, 2009 - 1:48pm [Dine in]

Tried a lot of korean BBQ, this one is on the more tasty side. A lot of spicy food that my friends just crave about. I am ok but not crazy, but the BBQ was nice, the portion was generous. The service, not much to say, was average. To me, a bit crowded for a busy street in downtown. No decor, no comfy chairs. Used to go to family owned BBQ and had a lot of side dishes, this restaurant barely had some. I don't know whether we went in at a bad time or something, we had a really hard time ordering from the staff. very so so place.....

Love this place

This place is really cool. The food was really high standard and they definitely satisfied my taste bud. The calamari and the lobster ravioli.... hmmm.... so good. The portion of the loster ravioli was a bit small, but in a high end restaurant like this, that was ok. The service was professional so totally no complaining. The only thing is just the price was just a bit high for me, but definitely worth it for such delicious food.

I went with my family just when we drove through the place. It was in a the corner. There weren't many tables. The service we received was really friendly, but had to wave down to get refills. The food was awesome. I specially like the roll that had melted cheese on. It was warm and tasty and the mozarella just melted with each piece. The donburi was the right portio that it totally was fulfilling. The sushi was really fresh and exactly right. I will definitely be back. They should upgrade a bit of the decor though. I would really appeciate if they create a more cozy atmosphere, cause it will definitely bring back more customers with such food quality.

A no-no for me
Submitted Saturday, February 7, 2009 - 8:16pm [Dine in]

I went twice with three years in between. It still disappointed me. Under a friend's request, I had to go again. This time it just totally put me off. The salmon sashimi was slimy and the tuna sashimi was off-colour. I tried to wash the disgusting taste off my month with tea, but it was not working at all. I really wished that I never went in there for the dinner. It is AYCE. Isn't it supposed to be fresh since so many customers order large order everyday?? I really wondered how they could serve food in such condition? I went there on weekdays doesn't mean getting disgusting fish. Sorry friend, I blame you for taking me there.

Saw a lot of ads and decided to go for a try. It was ok. I tried a couple of common dishes that I usually ordered Greek food. They were all ok. Like others, the portion was decent but just a bit overpriced. I went a couple of months ago, just shortly after their grand opening. Not spectacular, but ok for average.
