Ordered some pizza last night and had to figure out between the plethora of choices to choose from.
So it was decided that I would choose one that I hadn't tried before.
I've driven by them now and then and wondered what their pizza tastes like.
Well, I can attest to that now!
I knew I wasn't expecting something like a Steveston Pizza and probably something between the old fashioned pies from Mama's in Steveston.
They were very nice on the phone. I was even able to get a thinner crust pizza, but it wasn't that super thin crispy pizza that is now becoming the fashionista amongst pizza lovers in the lower mainland.
You know those places that hand toss them super thin and the crust is all bubbly with fancy ingredients?
My thin crust pizza wasn't quite like that, but it was thinner and I liked it better than the regular one which was a bit too doughy for me. Maybe if it was in the overn a bit longer or the tempurature was a bit higher to give the bottom of the pizza some extra crisp. (then again, take out pizza is typically like this unless they put corn meal underneath. The pizza boxes tend to make them steam between delivery times)
I wonder if they make this even thinner and in whole wheat? That'd be superb
Always looking for healthier alternatives :)
The wings were just average.
I think this place has potential. In a world now with food bloggers, and other food rating sites, it takes alot for a place to become popular. They have alot of competition out there and I'm sure they're still working out the menu and figuring out the perfect oven tempuratures. After all, Rome wasn't built in a day and good pizza takes time to perfect.
The toppings and menu is good. Now they need a bit of time to season it just right!
