I have been to this restaurant several times now and I can't think of one time I was dissappointed. The location is great, easy to find and unique. The house is quite cozy with larger private rooms upstairs. The patio looks nice but I have never been seated there. The food is always extremely fresh and the portions are sized nicely. The prices are good and the service is steady. This restaurant may be in Pitt Meadows and not Vancouver but you wouldn't know it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great Japanese food.
My boyfriend and I are regulars here and although I have never left a review for it now is the time. For four years we have visited this restaurant during every month and season. The food is absolutely consistently good. The lamb is like nothing you will ever have tried before. Simply falls off the bone. The service is relaxed and I am sure alot would call it slow. The drink selection is good and they have specials. If you like live entertainment usually after 9:00pm they have something going on during the weekends although sometimes during the week they surpirse you. The kitchen is open late and that can be handy. They never try to rush you into leaving. Unless someone can point out a better Greek restaurant in a great people watching location this is the place I will continue to go to. Love it!
I left a review here once before and it has somehow been misplaced. I have since been back a few times to this bistro and tried more of their great yogurts. The fact that I get to choose whatever topping or toppings I want is what makes this so wonderful. I like yogurt again! I also have now tried a few of their coffees and a tea. The owner makes them right in front of you really quickly and they are yummy. Perfect for stopping on your way to work for one to have in the car.
Had a nice Decmeber dinner here with a close friend. After a spot of trouble finding it because of the different signage outside we made our way in. Great ambiance and very warm and cozy. In the month of Dec. there was only one menu with three appies, mains and desserts to choose from. Was a little disappointed at first but not for long. Perfectly done. I had the lamb and she had the beef. All of the meals were just the right size and we left feeling staisfied but not stuffed. Good service and a decently priced although, small wine menu. Did not have to spend too much to get a really great dining experience. I would recomend this to anyone wanting a gourmet prepared meal without the heavy prices.
