I love this place and go frequently. Their food is consistently great, the hummus is brilliant and I will probably die from complications from eating so much of their Saganaki. I have on occasion during busy periods found the veggies to be dry and the potatoes to taste as though they had been sitting for a while.
The service is great and the owner is always warm and concerned with satisfying the customers.

This place has such great potential but completely fails in implementation. It feels and tastes like the "Before" scenes of an episode of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen nightmares.
I ordered the Salmon special which was clearly frozen and then seriously obliterated by their chefs - it was so dry it made the Sahara look luscious. The salad had an 80's esque dill dressing and in all honesty nothing on the over sized menu really appeared as appealing and in no way was any of it contemporary.
I get the feeling that this was probably a great place to be when it opened and through the 80s but it has completely failed to refresh it's look and menu and as such really isn't worth going to. This is too bad because the servers were really good and the atmosphere was great. There were lots of "locals" at the bar and the energy was good.
I want to like this place. If the food was good I could easily overlook the bad 70's interior with the floral pattern booths, I might even consider it retro and cool.
I really hope to see a "NEW MENU NEW CHEF" sign dangling out front soon and when I do I will try it again hoping to like it!
