We came to cactus Club on Saturday night with a group of 12 friends and we loved it. After spending a few minutes hunting around looking for the place my friend in Surrey had picked, we were pleasantly surprised when we stuck our heads in and the comfort and ambiance of cactus Club presented itself. First impressions were correct. Very cute, lots of pretty blondes.
We were taken to our table which was a bit squishy but again reminded us of other cactus Clubs, it was obvious that they were very busy so we were happy that they could fit us in. After ordering our drinks we were served with a complimentary mini salad. Cool.

The food was great as were the drinks, service was pretty good considering how busy they were and the quality of presentation. By the end of the night it was pretty noisy, I suppose thats part of creating atmosphere.

All in all we were pretty impressed by this little place. My advice is to come without your wives... sooo good.

Went here based on friends recommendation. Took my wife out and therefore didnt wanna spend too much. Food was 50/50, zucchini fritters absolutely bland, baked mushrooms were bland and terrible. Beef was nice but nothing special i.e. I could have cooked it at home myself. Great salad main of sultanas, wheat bread and onions. Whatever it was called. Didnt order wine coz wife brunch.

Ambience ok but nothing great (you look through the window into the vista). Service good but once again not superb or sexy.

I have mixed views on thee oriental restaurants. I have eaten at places like this a few of time now bith here and in the United States. So we went here for some sushi and sashimi, which the lady I was meeting was craving, it was absolutely non descript and ordinary. The staff were not lookers and we didnt get wine coz I had a bottle we were taking to our hotel. When we ate there Sushi, not so great, most of it was okay but sadly the way a few pieces of fish were cut were not up to standard. Eggplant dish we had was OK, but the rest was very take it or leave it. My girl was happy I guess which is all I cared about. What I did like was that the service was prompt and fast because we both had a time we had to be home by and with curfews we couldnt waste time here.
