I'm staying in Vancouver for the week and have been eating out a lot. Last night I went to Acacia and it was absolutely delicious! I had phyllo wrapped wild mushrooms with spinach and was expecting a small portion but it was HUGE! It came with roast potatoes and yams and a mixed green salad. The only issue was the cost of a can of pop, which was over $2. The food price was reasonable at about $10 but the cost of pop was absurd. I do plan to return but will be drinking water instead!
I was hesitant to try this restaurant because of prior reviews being a bit unflattering, but decided to see how it was. I was very happy with my experience. The waitress was extremely friendly and the veggie hash meal I had was huge and tasted great. I also ordered take out for a friend, eggs, sausages, potatoes and toast, and he liked it. I'm visiting from Toronto and had breakfast 3 times so far and this was my favourite. Not only that but it was the least expensive. I will definitely go back on my next trip to Vancouver.
