I’ve been to bistro Sakana many times and have always enjoyed it. We live in the area and it is nice to have a place like this that does not have the usual Yaletown suspects buzzing around inside. On top of that, the sushi is excellent and very fresh. I give it very high marks.

I don't understand the appeal of Anducci's. Why people line up for huge piles of tasteless pasta night after night is beyond me. I really felt like I was being herded to the trough. The best I could give it was a decent.

Wow, I had no idea that there was a place like Nu in Vancouver. I went there last night and had a truly amazing time. The only city that I have seen restaurants designed like this is Miami. What a location. For main courses we had the pork belly and the flat iron steak…both were fantastic. The service was warm, friendly and inviting but we did have to wait just a touch too long for our appetizers. Overall though, this place is perfect for me.

I go to this Cactus Club all the time. The food is always solid and they seem to have the service side of things really dialed in. The staff are fast, efficient and very willing to please. This is one of the best casual places in town.

We went to chi a few weeks ago and had a great time. The food was flavouful, fun and what I would call “good fusion cooking”. On top of that. they have also done a great job with the interior. This is what the east side needed.
