Love this place. It is very authentic Thai food, maybe a slightly limited menu, but whats there is always good. It fresh, spicey if you ask for it. Portions are a bit small, so it can be a bit pricey if you are hungry, but, we think its worth it. We generally get the YomNui salad, a hot Penang curry, one of their thai Basil stir fries, and squid. Iam not a Phad thai lover, but others in the party loved it. Also love the funny older-dude waiter who is English I think, and spent too many a year sniffing the spices!
Had the "lamb bom platter" for lunch. Was a good deal, the curry was reasonable, but then you cant compare that with Vijs. TheNaan was great -fresh and fluffy, one of the best. It also came with Dhall, Rice and youghurt with onions. The dhall was good too. Like said, good deal for lunch on N.Shore if you like Indian food. Not sure whats the "Fusion" about ;-).
Went with 4 friends. All got different dishes and shared. I loved the "ragistan? goat curry" --one of the best I have eaten, and I grew up in S. Asia. The curry had a fantastic collection of spices that blended so well with the meat, which must take hours to cook since its goat. The lamb popsiscles were good, so was the pork. The sablefish was very tender and well cooked, but my wife and i did not care for the sauce. Service was good, except it took quite a while to take our drinks order.
One of the best curries I have eaten - freshly made, i asked it for "hot", and it was delicous. It was great deal at $7.50 or so for lunch. Also had Rotti - it was excellent, but the curry that came with it was rather tasteless -luckily my lunch curry came along. Will have to come back for dinner, with "she who eats no hot" and friends.
