We both had pasta recently but were very disappointed with the food & server attitude. The sauce on the pasta was a cream base & clearly the cream was sour. We sent it back and asked for a different pasta but the server wasn't particularly apologetic. The second meal we received was cold. Probably because it took 30 minutes to be served to us. I think they simply forgot about us.
We're not going to be coming back. This is not the first time we have had a bad meal. The restaurant was much better under the management of the original owner.

We haven't been back here for a while as we had previously found the quality of the food was getting worse. So we went back recently to see if things had improved.
Bottom line - it has got worse! One of our friends ordered the salmon and it was covered with a tomato based sauce which totally obscured the flavour of the fish. I suspect this was to hide the fact the salmon was supposed to be fresh but was probably frozen.
My wife ordered the chicken and found the texture very strange. We think it was probably previously frozen and probably pre-processed. We asked the waiter who shrugged his shoulders as if he didnt know or care.
The pasta is not freshly made and was not al dente, rather "molto morbido".
This place seriously needs a "restaurant makeover" and a "menu makeover" and a "chef makeover"!!
Bye bye La Baia - we will not be back.
