My friend and I have been here twice, both times a Sunday at around 10:30am so we recognize it is prime time for breakfast!
The service has been wonderful both times and the food absolutely delicious. I love the way they cook the Denver omlette and my companion enjoyed his as well. The food was hot, not greasy and very tasty although the hashbrowns took a bit of getting used to.
I would have to say the only drawback to this place is that it has a bit of a cafeteria kind of feel, especially if you are sitting in one of the aisle tables but given how large the place is, it can be understandable.
A lovely place and I hope they do really well as it is nice to have choices in this area of what seems to be endless greasy spoons!

My sister and I recently popped into Fatburger as it is right near my house and I had been curious about it. When ordering (she a Fatburger, me a turkey burger) I felt the price was rather steep for "burgers & fries" however, once our meal arrived I was shocked at the sheer size of the burgers. They are VERY big so be sure you have a LARGE appetite when you go! My sister thoroughly enjoyed her burger and said it had a nice subtle smokey flavour. My turkey burger was awesome, not a dried out frozen patti like most places and the fries were great (although the gravy tasted like it was from a can). We shared a milkshake and it was scrumptious ... took us back to our childhood as it is made with real ice-cream and not flavoured syrups. I highly recommend the place and suggest that you don't judge the price until you get your meal. Of course, the funky 50's diner decor helped us enjoy the experience.

My sister and I recently visited this restaurant spontaneously while walking along the beach on a sunny Friday afternoon and were extremely pleased with this gem on Kits Beach.
While we did not have reservations we were not made to feel like we were intruding. The Seating Hostess was gracious without being too chatty and found us a perfect spot to sit - the view is incredible from anywhere in the restaurant but we were seated in a particularly lovely location just inside the patio doors.
Our server, Jeff, was outstanding and made some very helpful suggestions when it came time to ordering our lunch. As it was only lunch my sister and I opted to share the Crab, Artichoke and Spinach Dip as our appetizer. I often order this dish when in restaurants so in comparison to other venues I can honestly say this was truly the best I've ever had. The texture was warm and creamy and no one flavour dominated the other - a perfect blend. We then opted to share the Warm Seafood Spinach Salad (nuts on the side due to my dietary restrictions) and we were both suprised by the amount of jumbo prawns in it ... although a wee bit disappointed with the amount of scallops. Again though, it was a perfect blend of flavours and was very good. For dessert we had hoped to each order an item and then share unfortunately, they do not have a large dessert menu and on top of that, all but the Creme Brulee contained nuts so dessert was out for me. My sister however did have the Hazelnut something and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the ice-cream.
Our overall experience was top notch and we enjoyed our afternoon very much. Of course, it helps when the service is impeccable and the ambience is relaxing and inviting. Great place to check out the next time you are in Kits.
