(3.9) (4.3) (3.7) (4) (3.7)We've been looking for an excellent Indian restaurant close to us for some time, and when Palki's moved in to where Lime used to be we were hopeful. They don't disappoint - the food is fantastic, the service excellent and the price is affordable. The food stays hot because they are kept warm at the table with tea light candles as their heat source. We usually buy enough for dinner and lunch leftovers the next day.
Bringing out-of-town guests to a restaurant I hadn't been to before was a bit chancy, but was well worth the risk.
The look: Lime has a lovely clean look, and even beautiful dishes! The food was very nicely arranged as well. Up near the sushi bar is a TV screen, which is not so great but they shut it off shortly after we got there; I personally dislike TVs in restaurants.
The food: We ordered a combination sushi platter, avocado appy, yam rolls and spicy tuna rolls and shared. Very delicious, indeed, so we ordered extras of two of our favourites for further sharing. My sister, an Albertan, enjoyed herself thoroughly; she never gets such a fresh and yummy treat in the small town she lives in in beef country.
I highly commend Lime to anyone and hope it becomes a very successful restaurant!
Walking by Radha many times, I had no idea the delights that awaited my choosing to finally dine there. A pleasant surprise awaited me.
The food was very good and, as a bonus, organic. I had a lovely organic wine with dinner, which I really enjoyed. Because they use healthy grains, the food is very filling, so we didn't eat dessert (so this rating is about the excellent appy and main).
The server was aware and considerate - not overdoing it and not neglectful; just the right balance.
The prices are very reasonable and we were surprised such excellent food came at the price on the menu.
The brick interior with old hardwood floors made it feel really open and yet homey. And it was delightful to have a musician playing live music.
I highly commend Radha to anyone who enjoys wholesome and vegetarian food. We will definitely be returning.
