A small group of us decided to stay and have dinner in the dining room at this golf club following a day long seminar one Friday. The room was fully booked at 6pm when we arrived, so the lovely Spanish manager sat us in the lounge where we had a glass of wine until they came and got us at 6:30pm.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable experience at this restaurant. Easily the most pleasant restaurant that side of the Pitt River Bridge. The complimentary amuse bouche of a fresh made spring roll was to die for. The appetizers were VERY positively reviewed by all us us, my Scallop c ourse alone was worth coming back for. The Lobster Ravioli was clearly home made, and one of our group commented that the Rack of Lamb was the best she had ever had, bar none.
For dessert, we decided to split a British Columbia cheese course and the selection of local cheeses was absolutely perfect.
The wine selections were superior to any restaurant that we have been to outside of downtown Vancouver, and the view was quite something. The prices were very reasonable for the quality delivered.
The only question that I had was why they don't advertise? Three of our group live in the area, and not one of us had ever been there for dinner previously. I assured to manager that that is about to change, and that we will be seeing them again very soon.
