I have been a patron of the red for many years now. It has become a social house for many people on the north shore, not just west van (thankfully) the all round experience in my opinion is fabulous. I would however like to point out that people have off days, and contrary to the previous reviewer "verily,"so do servers.And just to clarify, gren thomas ( of whom ive met and talked to many times) is the co-owner/silent partner with mario, who manages/owns the establishment with gren. Mr. Tomas has nothing to do with the day to day operations as it is mario with the restaurant resume. so with that being said and before you attempt to misinform people any further and slander a person on a website maybe you should know your facts. Personally i am glad you wont be returning, it leaves more space for the people who want to support a local business, meet new friends and enjoy some great atmosphere.
