This restaurant has consistently drawn my family back, while a tad quaint, the service is excellent (as they get to know you fast) and the food is always outstanding. The porterhouse for two is, to me, the ultimate date food; smothered in parmesan and served with sides and a decadent port reduction, this is one of the best steaks in town. The pasta is all made in-house and it shows: my all-time favourite is the gorgonzola gnocchi, which don't appear on the dinner menu but are still available if you ask. And even if you think you won't like them, you absolutely have to try the chicken liver appetizers; served on toast with sage brown butter, these are the best chicken livers I've ever had, I have no idea how they do it but they are delicate and soft like good foie.
Without a doubt the best Italian available on the North Shore, this place knocks the socks off of showier, pricier places like Quattro.

At $33, the Memphis Feast is an unmatcheable bargain; a mixed grill with sides that will easily feed six people. The cafeteria-style ambiance may turn people off when dining in, it's really more of a sports lounge than a fine dining establishment. But the food speaks for itself, you simply can't get better barbecue this side of the border.
