We decided to try this place last Saturday night and I'm so glad we did! We got there around 6:30 and were told it was a 30 minute wait - we ordered some drinks and sat in the back and waited for our table. It turned out to be a little over 30 minutes, but then they let us know we could either wait for a table (for an additional 15 minutes) or sit at the bar. We decided to wait for a table and it was only about 10 more minutes. This is a tapas bar, so don't plan on ordering an entree, instead, the idea is to order several little dishes and share. We ordered the pomme frites (worth the wait right there - they were amazing and we had to leave a lot as there was only two of us, definitely something 4 could share), a salad and three tapas, the black cod and two of the tuna. So five dishes between the two of us and I think my husband could have eaten a little more if he wasn't getting over a cold. Wine list is pretty good and my husband enjoyed several selections of their beer. It was a great restaurant - we'll definitely be back! I do think this would be a fun restaurant for a small group too (4-6). Just be prepared for a wait as the place is tiny! (We heard the waitresses say 90 minutes at around 7:45).

Best Homestyle Pizza We've Found in the West End

We tried Pizzo Pizza a month or two ago after walking by several times and I'm very glad we gave this little place a try! They have the best homemade type pizza that we've found in downtown, period. If you're looking for a super thin crust, this isn't the place for you, but they have an outstanding medium thickness crust. The 2-for-1 pick up specials are really good, however the toppings were a little lacking on those (I like tons of toppings), so we stick with our favorites instead. The guy who runs the place is super nice and after three times, knows my husband when he comes to pick up our order and they have great hours as they're open late. This is our new go-to place for pizza.
