Tonight my wife and I took our 3 year old daughter to Poseidon. We were seated right away and were told if we came any later we would need reservations. We thought that was strange as the restaurant was empty except for one table. Within the hour the dining area was full, we could see why we would need a reservation.

To start we ordered half a flask of Chaberton Rouge, Hummus and pita, and ian iced tea for our daughter.

The Hummus was excellent, the best I have eaten. The flavor was well distributed, and unlike other restaurants, the garlic was perfect, not overpowering. The pita was amazingly fresh!

The special was Souvlaki with Lasagna. My wife had the chicken, and I had the beef. My wife shared with our daughter. The chicken was amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The beef was the same, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The Lasagna, was absolutely perfect!! the cheese was generous and the sauce was meaty and flavorful!

We finished with sharing Baklava........WOW!! perfect.

The service was great, they were attentive to us, and were very child conscious. The waitress moved the candle awayfrom our daughter. Over all I was impressed with her.

I can not remember the last time I have EVER had such a perfect meal.

We will be back very regularly to our new favorite restaurant.

Hummus $4.95
Special $14.95
Special $14.95
Baklava $5.50
Iced Tea $1.95
Wine $13.95
Tip $10.00

Total $71.03

Went last night before a movie. When we got there, there was a 1.5 hour wait. A little bit of cash nto the right palm got us seated within 5 minutes ;)

They bring you unlimited bread and Caesar salad to start. We didn't order an appetizer because of that. They were both excellent.

Wife had a Peach Bellini which was good. I ordered a Chi Chi, she brought me a Pina Colada....which was not very good.

My wifes main course was the Lotsa Cheese Cappelletti. She said it was excellent! I had the Linguine Chicken Tetrazzini. DISGUSTING! it looked and tasted like it sat under a heat lamp for half an hour. The chicken was fatty and gross.

Service was great considering how busy it was, they had the Canucks game on which was great also.

Drinks $6 each
Wine $15
Entrees $13 and $15

Total was $60.59 add $15 tip

total $75.59

Not worth it, but I will try it one more time before I totally frown on this eatery.

My wife and I went for dinner here in November. We ordered a bottle of Fat Bastard to start ($33) and then we ordered a Caesar salad ($8) and crabcakes ($11) as appetizers to share. For our main Entrees, she had the King Crab ($40) and I had the Crab Sampler ($40).

The wine was great. The appetizers on the other hand... terrible. The crab cakes were alright not nearly as good as the Kegs, which surprised me. The pineapple salsa was very spicy, which ruined the cakes. The should mention somewhere that it is spicey rather than a sweet salsa.

The salad was just disgusting. I have no way to describe it other than it tasted like they emptied half a bottle of Kraft dressing then topped it up with water and "sprinkled" it over lettuce. Stay away from this salad!!

Anyway...we didn't come for the salad. Our crab was excellent!! This was my wifes first experience with King Crab. And from a lover of Lobster she is now converted. The sampler I had was wxcellent Dungeoness, Snow and King crab...the portions were good and filling. The only complaint was that I asked twice for more butter and never received any.

Service was bad at best. Our waitress was arrogant and didn't bring us what we asked for.

Overall, we MIGHT go back one day if we are craving crab.
