Awesome place with excellent service
Submitted Sunday, October 18, 2009 - 6:11pm [Dine in]

We went on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't very busy. There were 3 other tables. The service was awesome. They were always attending to our table, changing our grill, gave us refills on our side dishes and we very polite. The BBQ was so tasty. Very tender meats and full of flavor. It's a true Korean restaurant. We received 5 side dishes, 2 types of meat, korean pancake and yam noodles all over $30. Such a great deal for so much food. The food is very fresh and crunchy. I really enjoyed this place and I would recommend it to everyone!

Way to Salty!
Submitted Monday, September 28, 2009 - 4:10pm [Dine in]

I dine out a fair bit ... I have never tried such salty food before. The food would be good if it wasn't so salty. The potato bread and the daily special (sablefish) was way to salty. Being from Vancouver, there are so many amazing places to eat, with great value and lovely tases. Stage isn't as great as I heard it was. It needs to revamp their menu, work a bit more on presentation and reduce the amount of sodium. The fennel salad was decent.

Not that great

I wouldn't return here nor would I recommend this place. The food isn't very good, not very fresh. The owner is very nice and he spends a lot of time talking to his customers. The food however, is poor. I have been to many places that serve PHO and I wouldn't recommend this place. I would rather go to Pho Hoa than this place.

This isn't Asian style
Submitted Sunday, April 12, 2009 - 7:05pm [Dine in]

I've been to this place once and I'll never go back. I went with 1 other person, we got our own noodle boxes and they were just loaded. You get a lot for your money but it's not very good at all. The box is jammed packed and it has way too much sauce. My noodles were swimming in a box of sauce! There are a lot of veggie's and toppings but the combination of everything seems like it was just thrown together and bashed into a box. I have tried many Asian eateries in Asian and Vancouver ... I'd have to say this place isn't authentic at all.

Horrible Service - ran out of rice!
Submitted Monday, December 15, 2008 - 3:27pm [Dine in]

I don't think we're going to come back here. We came as a party of 10 people. The place was packed with 2 other large parties. We were told we could get one dish at a time so we could "try" the different foods. Actually we found out it was because the kitchen couldn't cope. We were told they ran out of rice! What Asian place runs out of rice! It's over priced for the food. I would recommend a viet places in East Vancouver instead.

I have been here twice in the past month. 1st time was for drinks. decent pricing. standard drinks. ok service.

today, i went for brunch. we had a burger and sandwich with salad and fries. it was good. i ordered a side of gravy. a bit runny and took 15 minutes to prepare. the music was a bit loud for my taste. beer and wine are a reasonable price. the washroom was gross. looked like it hadn't been cleaned since last month.

i recommend the food and it's a great place to hang out with friends any day or night. bring cash, they don't have debit but take credit cards.

clean up those tables!
Submitted Sunday, October 29, 2006 - 8:21pm [Dine in]

this is a big restaurant. they never have enough staff to clean up the tables. the last 3 times i've been there i've had to wait about 5 minutes for a table in place that is only 25% full. the staff run around like chickens. the tables are full of dirty dishes. they have a display of yellow tail wine - yuck. the floor looks like it hasn't been mopped in over 1 month.

This place won't last!
Submitted Sunday, September 24, 2006 - 10:48am [Dine in]

I went on for Sunday brunch. Chairs weren't tucked in, plants outside the patio were dying and some of the tables weren't set nicely.

My cup was dirty with coffee filth --no quality control here!
The ketchup bottle was gross. Label peeling off, runny and only half full.

This is restaurant is in an area with others that pay great attention to detail. I will not visit this place ever again and instead will go to Fiddlehead Joe's.
