My wife and I came here on a Friday for a date night. The only trouble we had with the whole experience was finding the entrance, but that's part of the quirky charm. Very friendly staff in a very relaxed setting.
We started with the escargots, and they were surprisingly (good way) tender. The garlic sauce was unbelievable. Before I could ask for some bread, the waitress came with a fresh loaf for sopping up the leftover sauce. Completely cleaned the dish.
My wife had the filet, and it was cooked to perfection. I had the duck confit, and it was similarly delicious. The vegetable medley featured some nice choices (beets, podded peas).
We commented to our server that the quality of the food was right up there with Le Crocodile. We will definitely be back!

My wife, son (5) and I moved to Cloverdale from Ontario two years ago. We were used to pretty decent dim sum in the Toronto area, but hadn't tried it in BC yet. Today we went to Rain Flower on the recommendation of DineHere. We had a reservation, and they did seat us right on time. Took a while to get a waiter, but they had everything we wanted on the menu. Every dish they brought was spectacular. We had har gow (shrimp dumplings), fried prawns, seafood rice noodles, steamed pork buns, stuffed eggplant, and shrimp rice rolls. To top it off we had egg tarts. The crust on the tarts was made up of multiple layers of ultra thin pastry. Fantastic. The ingredients were very fresh, and the preparation was excellent. We will be back. Soon.
