The food was excellent, the service was terrible. For example, when we asked what the soup of the day was, the answer was "well, earlier today it was x, I think that's what it still is". When the wine we had was no longer available, and we ordered a different one, we had to ask for new glasses, and were then told there weren't enough in the back. When the wine eventually came, it was off, we complained. We were told that 3 people in "the back" (including one who apparently is a sommelier) had tried it and said it was OK. I know this wine, it was off.

We've been to Fraiche in West Van (same owner - Wayne Martin) which is excellent. This one is not in the same league.
