Newton Pizza is our go-to pizza place for take-out!
The crust is thick and crispy, the ingredients are generous and fresh! The pizza is never greasy!
We always order either the Vegetarian, the Newton Classic, or the Hawaiian...and all are excellent!
Delivery is usually about 45-50 mins....so keep that in mind when ordering, but its well worth the wait.

this is our favourite sushi restaurant in cloverdale!
great sushi! big, tight rolls that don't fall apart, using fresh ingredients!
they've let me substitute when I've ordered party trays, which a lot of other places do not let you do.
always fast service, never more than 15-20 mins for pick ups
clean and modern decor, always people in the restaurant!

We went for our Anniversary, and after being reccomended by at least three people we thought we'd give it a try. One person said "since it's your anniversary, ask for a table by the window". I didn't really know what that meant, maybe that's a better table, so we did.....Well all we got was a view of the parking lot, although newly paved - it wasn't much to look at.
The decor is very dated...1970's green and orange tile on the walls, old cheesy patterned carpet, rickety tables with a plastic "candle" on it. At least the red carnation was real.
I do have to say the service was very good, the waitress was friendly and on the ball.
We were immediately brought out a plate of 4 small french bread slices with broiled cheese on it - they were interesting....
I ordered the 6 oz tenderloin steak with scallop, and my husband got the special, lamb with mushrooms in red wine sauce. The food was mediocre at best. Both dishes were served with hashbrown style fried potatoes, two slices of undercooked carrots that tasted like fennel (not to my liking), sauteed mushrooms drowning in sauteed garlic and a pile of sauerkrut style cabbage (which neither of us even attempted to eat). My steak was lightly seasoned with salt and pepper, was thin and overcooked and honestly tasted like something I'd throw on the BBQ on any given weekend. My husbands lamb was smothered in a thick sauce that tasted like OXO chicken bouillon. For $25 per meal - we left very dissapointed!!!
We have three small kids at home and do not get to go out often, so when we do we like it to be memorable - unfortunately the only memory we'll have of La Masia is that it was a waste of money!
