Nice Experience
Submitted Tuesday, September 7, 2010 - 10:46am [Dine in]

Price was quite resonable especially they did have promotion right now.
Food was good and the portion was quite big as well.
The black samurai roll was very good that they used black sesame sauce for that roll.
I expected the mango dragon using mango piece but they only put mango sauce into it.
Their chicken yakiudon was the best stir-fry udon I had so far.
The BBQ saba was a little bit oily.
The restaurant was brand new so it's nice and comfort.
Overall, it's a nice spot to hang out, I would like to say it's worth trying. Go for it.
The manager also told me there was one other location in Burnaby north. They have more special rolls selection. I would try it when I pass by.

No More Sushi Garden
Submitted Saturday, August 28, 2010 - 9:28am [Dine in]

I have a bad experience in Kingsway location so I try their new branch in Lougheed Hwy.
I accepted they were very busy and services would not be good. There were no tea refill on many tables and no smile on their faces. But I 'm so mad that the lady took away my dishes even I hadn't finished it! I knew she want my table so she tried to push me out. The food was OK and fresh. For the same price, I have many other choices with good food and services. I think it will become a takeout shop if no improvement for their services.

No Response for Food Problem
Submitted Tuesday, August 24, 2010 - 10:01am [Dine in]

I went there for a lunch with my roomate. I ordered some rolls and she had a noodle in soup. Her noodle was good but I found out that the tuna inside the roll was too fishly and I told our waitress that she has no response about that. I was worry about getting food posion so I don't finish it. I was not so happy about I did see the roll inside my bill. I didn't leave any tips on my table. It was not my first time to come here but I think I will not come back anymore.

Take Out is much better
Submitted Friday, August 20, 2010 - 11:53am [Dine in]

I have couple bad dine-In experiences in this restaurant. I always order their food to go since their services are not that good. Their portion are similar to Sushi Garden and the price are almost the same. I 'm really like their spicy tuna roll and spicy scallop roll. You will be happy if you care about the quantity.

Price & Food is fair
Submitted Sunday, December 13, 2009 - 1:43pm [Dine in]

Last week we took boundary when we went to North Van and we knew that the restaurant had move to new location. We decide to tried it again. The new look is much better than the last one. The taste of the food is OK. Chicken with spicy sauce was really good (not too spicy for me). Veggie with black bean sauce was a little bit saltly.
Services was acceptable. The Bill was about $40 (two person)including the tips that is reasonable. I believe I will come back again if I go around that area.

Wait about 20 mins
Submitted Sunday, December 6, 2009 - 12:31pm [Dine in]

My co-worker and me needed to do a project at his apartment which near the killarney mall. After finishing the paper work (about 7:30pm), we decided to having a quick dinner(not sushi, or pizza). At that time, the restaurant was really empty. My co-worker told me that it was busy at the weekends only. He ordered the fried rice and my order was stir fried noodle with beef. His order came really fast but I don't know why it took about 20 mins for my order until I asking my server. The only reason was she missing my order. The food is just OK but I was not so happy that the server didn't say anything about that. Well, I knew I will not come back anymore since food and services are not as good as it provided.

Curry is Good
Submitted Saturday, December 5, 2009 - 4:49pm [Dine in]

I agree all review from below that their curry is really really good. Although ambiance and services are not above the standard. People go there must try their curry items. I tried other dishes such as fried rice, noodle in soup, and stir fried noodles but their curry is the most dishes that I usually order. If I go to the area around richmond centre, I usually order their curry beef brisket from their menu.

Services is important

Try this restaurant since my friends moved to downtown.
Food is nothing special but the price is higher than I expected.
Service is only thing that I don't really like. My server just take my order and she never come back to ask for a drinks. Although it's not very busy, she seems having a lot of things to do.
The same price of check that I have many other choices.
Too bad, this is our first time and last time to try this place.

worse than I think !
Submitted Tuesday, April 4, 2006 - 9:47am [Dine in]

What a big and nice restaurant in metrotown! But why their food and services are soooooooooo bad. Most of the food (chicken teriyaki, tempura, gyoza, california roll...) seem pre-made for a long long time and we do have to wait for 30 mins to get these food!! Our server never say why it takes sooooooo long. What a big joke for us to try this restaurant.
I know 'All you can eat' restaurant will not give good quality food to customer but I can tell that many other all you can eat restaurant should better than Sui Sha Ya.
