I live in Richmond but whenever i get the chance of going to downtown, I always come here to have mouth watering shawermas. Juicy, succulent peieces of met with just the right amount of veggies always seems to satisfy my hunger. The staff, I agree are not always friendy but what do you expect , they work in a small cooped up place and exposed to intense heat.

Love love eating here. Whenever I come here, I always order the souvlaki and never get to finish it due to its enormous quantity. My mom always orders the lamb roast and both of us take our left overs home after the meal. I even got my bf hooked on the souvlaki and he claimed it was indeed the best Slovaki he ever had. I also ordered the rice and chicken soup and also found it pretty delicious.

My mom and I were taking a stroll on moncton street, suddenly we saw this guy who was standing outside the bread store cal out to us, 'want to buy fresh delicious bread?'. Though we did not need any bread at that time, we agreed and went inside the store. The owner began to ask questions like where are you guys from and by the time the little convo was over, we found ourselves paying 10 dollars for a teeny sausage kinda bread. After walking for a few minutes, we asked ourselves did we really buy this measly bread for ten dollars? We thought to ourseves perhaps it was a delicious romanian delicacy or something. Unfortunatey there was nothing fresh about the bread, it was simpy horrendous and we ended up throwing it after trying really hard to chew on it but alas the darn bread it seemed was cursed...down in the drain went our hard earned ten dollars.

Authentic pakistani tikkas and kababs
Submitted Wednesday, May 26, 2010 - 3:46am [Dine in]

My brother announced one day that he discovered a fantastic place which sells 'bundoo khan walay tikka and kababs', for those who are unaware of what I just referred to, it is a place a popular chain of restaurants all over Pakistan which are known for their delicious barbecue foods. When we went there it was totally packed and our food came after 40 minutes or so, nevertheless our scrumptious tikkas and kababs were truly worth waiting for. Yes the taste was similar to 'Barbecue Tonights' and 'bundoo Khan's' yummy treats but minus the greasiness. I have been living in Canada for the last 4 years and I can truly say I have never tasted a better tikka. The second time I went there, it wasnt that packed and therefore we recieved more attention, unlike before. So if you have a craving for delicious pakistani food that knocks your socks off, this truly is a place to go!
