I found the food good enough to go there two times. However, both times my friends and I were treated so rudely, I will never go back.
So what happened? Both times friends and I wanted to enjoy a long meal and chat over the food. Well, as soon as put down our forks to take a break, the waitress both times came to ask if she could pack everything up for us. No, we still wanted to eat. Then she came back every few minutes to ask if we were ready to go.
Both times the restaurant was quiet, so there should have been no reason to kick out customers because of a growing line. In fact, the second time, I took out of town friends there specifically for lunch so that we would make sure it wasn't busy. We were the only customers in the restaurant.
Anyhow, I even ordered more food so that the serving staff could see that we were intent on making sure their time was paid for and we weren't just layabouts. On my second visit, the manager even came by to see if everything was alright and if there was anything he could help us with. We told him we liked the food and wanted to eat more.
It's ridiculous to be kicked out of a restaurant when you are a quiet, courteous customer who orders much and tips well. Did they think we were teenagers out to seatwarm? (We were in our thirties.) Do they have a strict 20 minute seating rule? I don't know because I will never go there again. Which is a two-way loss, because I was happy that there was a good Mexican restaurant in my neighbourhood.
