We were just driving looking for someplace to eat when I caught the sign saying Indonesian restaurant. I thought why not - I haven't had Indo food in years anyways. Went in, ambiance was pretty disappointing. I was hoping to see something more Indo culture-ish. It looked very.. standard-white-table-cloth restaurant. Service was great - very attentive, friendly. Food was yummy! Although still can't compare it to home, the taste was close enough. Spice level was spot on too. I loved the sambal terasi. We tried the gado-gado, nasi kuning with sayur lodeh, and pisang goreng for dessert. Everything was nice. Price was a bit high.. but understandable for that area. Overall it was a pleasant dinner :) Will definitely go back for special occasions.

as said before, service can be a bit disappointing.. but the cute little notes on the wall kinda make up for it. a nice read while waiting for your food to come. food is delicious, decent portions, decent pricing for that part of town. i agree that the place is cramped with too many tables.. one time we had to sit by the bar and it wasn't half bad. interesting to see the chef make your food.

First walked by, I was surprised to see the size of the restaurant.. judging from the website I thought it would've been bigger. Decor was nice & unique.. we got seated by the window :) From the Dine Out menu, appetizers were delicious especially the lamb sausage.. considering I don't usually like lamb. Corn relish was YUMMY. Entrees were tasty but not outstanding - too much corn on the chicken and rice was a bit mushy, I find. Desserts tasted like supermarket stuff, big NO NO. To top it all, server wasn't very attentive, that includes slow (almost no) refills for water unless you ask for it. Won't go back.

My boyfriend and I went for Dine Out Vancouver solely based on the reviews I read, and for once I cannot agree more with them. The view was amazing, the food was delicious, although a bit salty to my taste. But you can tell the ingredients they used were very fresh! The service was awesome, everyone was very friendly and always ready with water refills. The transitions between courses were perfectly timed. Best cheesecake I've ever tasted, I love how the cake was "sandwiched" between the crust, very unique. The place was packed when we were there, thus it was a bit noisy. But food- and price-wise, this place is hard to beat. It was a very nice place to end our Dine Out experience with.
