Sunnyside Cafe1234 Esquimalt Road, #101, Victoria
Very tasty huevos rancheros!
Submitted Saturday, May 10, 2014 - 4:49pm [Dine in]

I went here to Sunnyside Cafe for my third visit to this restaurant in the last several months. Once again, it was a great breakfast (huevos rancheros). The young lady behind the counter was very friendly and got my coffee & breakfast ready very quickly. The price was reasonable, and my coffee refill was given without any prompting on my part. I was the first customer in at 8am, but by the time I left at 9am the cafe was mostly full - it is popular!

Very tasty Greek food

I went with three friends. Two of us had moussaka while the others had roast lamb. All four agreed the meals were delicious, and the presentation of each meal was superb. Service was quick, thorough, and yet not intrusive. Although Millo's has been in business for 35 years, it was a first visit for a couple of us. We were all pleased and plan to return.

Pluto's Restaurant1150 Cook Street, Victoria
Good food - and no waiting in line!
Submitted Monday, February 15, 2010 - 8:46am [Dine in]

Pluto's is the place I go to most often for breakfast on the weekend. Why? Simple - no waits! Most of the popular breakfast spots in downtown Victoria often have substantial line-ups to get inside, but with Pluto's you can usually walk right in and grab a booth.

The food is decent - nothing spectacular, but it tastes good and it's usually brought to the table quickly. The wait staff are usually prompt and on the ball. The ambiance and decor are okay.

Overall an okay experience - and no wait!

Cabin 123111 Cedar Hill Rd, Victoria
Decent food, excellent service
Submitted Monday, February 15, 2010 - 8:07am [Dine in]

I stumbled into Cabin 12 by chance and was impressed by what I found. The food was typical breakfast fare; decent and tasty but nothing unusual. The decor was similar to that of your average coffee shop - trendy yet homey. Prices were about the same as other breakfast eateries in Victoria: $8 to $10 for a meal, plus a couple of bucks for coffee.

What struck me the most about Cabin 12 was that the wait staff were extremely outgoing and attentive. They made the place stand out in my mind. I will definitely return to Cabin 12.
