The food here is really good. I'm not sure what it's called or what number it is on the menu but these beef sliced sandwich type things are the most unbelievable things I've ever eaten. Add that with any soup and it's really good and cheap. The service is terrible. Especially if you're a white person. You have to get specific english speaking waiters if you want your order to be right. Definitely recommend this place overall though.
Went there the other day for the first time after hearing they get meat delivered from Shwartz's in Montreal. It's pretty much the same but something isn't right and I'm not talking about the prices(which are ridiculous). They get away with it at PHAT because it's Yaletown and it doesn't matter how expensive anything is there. People will still buy it. Service was terrible. No one looks happy to be there and everyone gives attitude. I like my Subway and Quiznos to tell you the truth but if you're looking for something similar to PHAT in terms of deli style, but 100% better in every way then try Kaisereck Deli in the Granville Island Market.
