I work in the lonsdale area and have been familiar with the many management changes Persepolis has undergone over the years. Especially after reading one particular review on dinehere, I was hesitant in giving the place a chance. It was my coworker who had been to Persepolis with her husband last weekend, who convinced me to go for dinner after work. Initially, entering the restaurant, the ambiance was inviting and chic. We sat beside the warm fireplace accompanied by relaxed music that wasn't overwhelming or interupted our conversing. The service was impressive as our waitress was polite, considerate (she brought extra bread without having to ask and regularily refilled our beverages) and friendly. I liked that she let us enjoy our time and didn't pressure us in any way. The biggest surprise though, was definitely the food. I had the Chilean Seabass while my coworker had the Peppercorn Steak. The fish was well seasoned and fresh and they were both perfectly cooked. Needless to say, our plates were scraped clean. Although it seemed at first the prices weren't as low as their lunch specials, their portions and quality made the meal of good value. I'm happy to have been proved wrong!

My friends and I stumbled upon Nook while looking for a pasta place on a friday night. The place is rather small and was packed so we ended up sitting at the bar but the service and atmosphere was memorble, cozy and did not disappoint. I was very impressed with the food aswell, especially their pizzas and starters. The pricing was affordable and worth every penny and we didn't leave a crumb on our plates. We were very happy with our find and will definitely be returning to introduce our friends.
