The hostess did not greet us with a friendly manner, the server lost our order and gave us the wrong appetizer and dessert, the one who gave us dessert didn't even know what he was giving us, the food is bland, and we were given our bill before we even got dessert! I felt rushed. Unless they change all aspects of this restaurant, I will never ever come again. I wish I had looked up the review of this restaurant on dinehere before I ate there....... it's such a shame a restaurant could be this bad.
I went here yesterday with a group of 11 and it was great! Service was amazing - really top notch! They were always attentive and brought drinks/food shortly after we ordered. The Hello Kitty drink is good - as is their new Strawberry Sake Margarita. We did the set menu which came with 11 or so dishes for $30/person so we really got a good variety. Fish + chicken were cooked perfectly and all the dishes were so tasty and we were all extremely full by the end. Decor was great too. I'd definitely come again!
Oh my where to start... the service was surprisingly not great. The waitresses were definitely not the smartest bunch (for example they cannot count.. nor add.. on many many counts) and a couple were not friendly and scowled when she took our order.
The food itself, while still edible, was nothing great at all. The steak my friend and I ordered was overcooked even though we asked for rare, the salad was not very flavourful, and the dessert was satisfactory. Their Sangria was good though. OH the worst part was when both of us visited the restroom with the steak and scallop plate half full. When we came back, to our surprise, the waitress had taken the plate away and threw it out -- she did not pack it up at all! There was at least $10 worth of food (out of the $24) left on that plate!!
Please don't waste your time or money. Go to Ferris instead.

This place looks quite run down -- the walls are wood panels but that totally doesn't make me change my mind about the food! The food is definitely authentic and it's what all Korean food should be like. My friend and I shared a tofu jjigae and bibimbap. Well done. I loved the sauce that came with the bibimbap -- it's like gochujang sauce mixed with satay sauce. Service was pretty ok. Nothing to complain or rave about.
Overall, this restaurant offered tasty food. It was very busy when I went quite a few months ago. I didn't prefer the way they made their beansprouts though. I loved the atmosphere - it's very classy, modern, and cosy. The service could improve -- they could come by more often to see if we needed anything -- it took a while to get their attention for certain things such as the bill.
I've been to this restaurant 3 times now within the last few months. It's pretty darn good and you can tell by how busy it is. The staff is generally young, friendly, and efficient. Great side dishes. I recommend their seafood pancake and bibimbap. I've eaten better japchae though. Their BBQ is alright.
Great atmosphere -- it looks very clean except the floor should be swept more often under the tables. Cutlery and plates are spotless though.
It's best to go w/ more than just 2 ppl so you can share the dishes and order the larger dishes.
I just went today with a couple girlfriends for dinner and we all thought the food was extremely tasty. We ordered the seafood pancake, Combo A BBQ, and Kimchi Jjigae. We all raved over the BBQ - the meat was very well marinated and fantastically tender. Service was alright - the waiter came around and helped us cook the meat. The restaurant was pretty clean, too. I can see how it'd be a great place for drinking beer and singing karaoke w/ a bunch of friends late at night. We found that the prices are generally the same as the other Korean restaurants - it ended up being approx $!5/person sans tip.
Highly recommended - I will definitely go again soon!
