We went to Correlli's a couple of weeks ago and the food was devine. I ordered the seafood fettucini in a light rose sauce and we ordered the calamari for an appy had the cheesecake with berries. I don't get what all the low reveiws are about. It is also in the perfect place, we went for a nice walk after dinner down the boardwalks. I love walking the boardwalk in steveston.

Yesterday went for a walk in Steveston and I was pointing out the place we had dinner at to my friend and lo and behold it's gone. I was devistated, I just discovered this place and it is gone. Same owners but they changed the name to Hogs and shack omg first of all what a tacky name it reminds me of something out of the Porky's movie and Animal House. They apparently serve 30% of the original menu but the rest is BBQ ribs and stuff.

So I don't know if my meal is still on the menu but I don't think I am tempted to go to a restaurant called Hoggs and Shack. Do they serve up pig on a spit ugh!! Please Please Please stop changing a good thing. Apparently they figured since they were close to Paesano's they decided the neighborhood didn't need another Italian place. WTF first off I have lost many of my favorite italian restaurants so If isn't broken don't fix it. I don't know if I will ever go back, I can get ribs anywhere. I guess I will go back to "The Italian Tomato" for my italian fix.
