Best fish ever period! The sablefish is incredibly good as is everything else on the menu. Never tried the sushi, the sushi chef looks really lonely downstairs. I don't generally get sushi at places that aren't sushi restraunts because it's usually relatively overpriced. The service is attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. The ambience is great, right under the bridge, if it's cold they bring you blankets which I thought was a very nice touch. For the quality I think the price is quite reasonable, definitely recomend it.
Yep, the doughnuts are a glutinous indulgence, so much better than any doughnut you'd get in a store. The other pastries are wonderful aswell, particularilly the croissants. The other food is ok, yet overpriced. The coffee is not terrific, yet adequate if coupled with one of there more than ample pastries. Some of the younger people who work there are nice, however, some of the older employees (possibly owners) are extremely rude and indifferent. You gotta be ready right away without any questions or they become noticeably impatient. Parking is tough to find, but that applies for all of deep cove, not just Honey's.
I've never been disapointed with the food at this place. The portions are generous-especially the nachos- and you can't really beat the price. I found that while the service is never really rude, it can be somewhat unnatentive and disorganized. Sometimes the food comes out really quickly while other times it takes quite awhile; generally sooner than later though. Best idea is to go on a weekday when it's not as busy because on weekends it tends to get a little backed up. Music is a little excessively loud as well. Finally, it is main st. so expect the bohemian theme, that's just how it is.
