I ordered take-out for my whole family one night over there and decided to try the Hai-Nam chicken and rice. However, I was seriously disappointed with the quantity of chicken that I received when I got home. With only 6 measly pieces of chicken (I'm not even going to bother mentioning the size of it, just look at the picture in the album. It is a picture of several chicken in a Styrofoam box), they charged me dishonestly. How can you possibly expect a customer to have faith with you if you couldn't preserve the integrity of one of your famous dishes? Were the cooks slacking off?? Were the waitresses ridiculing me just because of my age and appearance??? Nevertheless, my mother called them to complain about the order. The waitress on the other line was ridiculous in admitting that the quantity of chicken in the menu order should be 1/4 the size of the whole chicken, which is COMPLETELY NOT TRUE. How can she possibly say something that she couldn't possibly be sure of?! Just because your restaurant's policy set the standard of giving 1/4 the size of a standard chicken doesn't mean that ALL the customers would receive it. I was, for lack of a better word, going 'WTF' with the waitress' ignorance and dishonesty towards handling the situation.
Either way, there's no way that I'm going to return there. This comment will not only be posted on this website, but on all the common dining websites people go to in hopes of knowing the truth about this restaurant.
I used to like Mui Garden and would normally consider it a great place to hang out for a good meal, but after this incident, I have lost faith in it. No longer will I waste my money on such a place.
P.S. Regular, normal, and potential customers: I want you to take a look at the photo and honestly tell me: is this amount of chicken in the picture below considered to represent 1/4 the size of a standard chicken?? Do you think that you would go to a restaurant where the waitresses are
