enjoyed the ambiance more than anything, good staff, veri friendly. went there twice. tried most of everything on the menu. like i said, guud enuff. if u get a chance thou and wana go hav a hard time looking for parking try the other guu's downtown. diff menu/
went for my parents anniv on a busy saturday nite. . but stil got a table in 10mins. friendly staff. good food. great service. orders came quick and hot . . what else is there to say. yummy peking duck =P
good to go if ure into small portions and over priced bubble teas....i find that the crowd that occupies this place are mainly rich kids who dnt hav anything else better to do. i wonder wat it is about these places? go and try out the hotpot beef stew, its good, plus its somthing different. same thing, go early during dinner time or reserve a table that might or might not b reserved for u.
ive seen this place shut down more times for health and safety reasons that i cant believe its stil in business. granted mind u that chinese restaurants aren't know for being super clean in that department. im my experience, the dirtier the kitchen the better the food tastes, haha, good, tasty, cheap, go early on the weekends or u'll end up standing in line and wait til an old lady who doesn't speak english cuts u off for the nex available table (she understands u perfectly, she just wants to eat)
my buddies drag me here every so often for one reason only, the veri attractive waitresses. yup, its sad but true. however, i usually end up sitting facing the wall and only get enjoy the food (that was the original purpose of the whole trip, aiyaaaaaa.) Anyway, the prawn salad is veri good. and the chicken in claypot also yummy. just make sure u go early or reserve a table in advance, it gets real busy at night time.
if u like Taiwanese women - i mean Taiwanese food - this is the place to be.
the service u get is bad during the busy periods but what can u really expect when the restaurant only hires 3 servers during the rush hours. i like the food, portions r well sized for a snack, plus the menu has a pretty good selection of items from across the horizon.
like i said, just go there when its not busy.
if u ever get a chance to try out their special mussel dish. do it!
its a unique blend of spices that makes me want to order another to go. only served on the dinner menu thou. other than that everythin else is pretty dam good. jerk chicken and yam fries, need i say more.
tried, tested and true. ive been here more than i can remember, and every time i eat here its stil good. the dinner menu is so worth the money and its not even expensive for what u get. as far as AYCE places go, this restaurant i recommend. lunch menu is half of what u get for dinner but for $11 go for it!
