Ehhh, it was ok, but

Quite heavy. The smoked sausage was good but really did not like the chicken or the briskette. Briskette was sooo fatty, and the chicken had absolutely no flavor. I had to put cider vinaegar on the mushy pulled pork to get a bite down. The sides were actually quite grose (beans, coleslaw, potatoe salad). Not impressed. I read about this place on this site, and was actullay quite disapointed. Oh well, can't win them all.

Expensive for what you get. Not recomended, service was poor, over crowded that particular night, hence food came very, very, very late. Not worth it. Did I mention it too forever to get the meal?

Wonderful!

Took my reluctant husband there. He loved it! Many variety of Schnitzels to choose from. I hade Jagerhof Schnitzel which had a sort of mushroom gravy on top, very tasty. Hubby had schnitzel that was stuffed with ham and real cheddar cheese, then breaded as ususal. Very delicious. Side dishes were red cabbage and spatzel. Scrumptious! Decent size and very flavorful. Good if you are looking form home cooked tastes. Quite restaurant, flash back to grandma's dinning room. Overall, I totally recommend this if you are wanting comfort food, top quality tast/service and warm fuzzy feelings all over.

I found the food fantastic. I highly recomment the ?Chef Tagliatelli? pasta! Also the grilled calamari was a great start with bread. The friends really enjoyed the food. They said they will definately be returning. Service was no different than any other place of same price. Attomosphere was enjoyable. Not a place for a quite dinner out. Good for small groups of friends to enjoy great food and wine. The fact that the restuarant is always very busy means that the food is above average.

It was good, but...

You can tell it was not home made pasta. As another reviewer suggested to try the one with anchovies, yes, that dish was very good. Also good was the calamari, and tomato and boccini salad. However my guests were not blowen away by the other pasta and veal parma dishes. Veal was very chewey. We only had the waiter check in on us once, at the beginning of the meal. Bread came with the meal, not before. We had to really work to get the waiters attention to refile the wine. Over all, it was Ok, however I don't think I will be back.
