This was our favorite restaurant for the time we were here. The waitstaff and management went beyond our expectations for feeding a large group of 38. We not only enjoyed the meal, but were treated very kindly. It was Christmas night and even thought the restaurant was packed, we weren't rushed or felt as though we had to make room for the next diners. Thank you Clay and all your staff for a wonderful, memorable night. The food was suberb, and the lobster was cooked correctly. We couldn't get enough of the desert. Make Ric's a must go to restaurant in Whistler.
Our large group of 38 arrived for dinner and was promptly seated, and were given menus. The waitstaff and manager were very pleasant and the food arrived quickly and in abundance. We were not dissapointed not did we leave unhappy. They quality of the food was not the finest, but for the price it was satisfactory. We would definitely return if we were in the area again.
This has to be the worst Old Spaghetti Factory of all. I have never experienced such disrespect for the waiters and waitresses from management. We had a party of 38 and ONE waiter to get our drinks, take our orders, serve, and clean up. He did a fantastic job and he really earned his pay that night. Not one waitress or waiter was able to help him because they were so busy themselves. We watched the manager/owner walk out laughing when every seat was taken and a room full of people waiting for tables. She should be ashamed of herself. The food wasn't as good as usual, probably due everyone being seated at once. I hope these waitstaff is being well paid, if not, there's other restaurants that would employ you hard workers.
I was estatic after eating the prime rib. It was just superb. The service was professional and fast. We had a great time and the atmosphere was beautiful. A definite must eat here again. My friend had the salmon and it was beautifully cooked.
Forget the service and the food. It 's the only place where Snowboarders and their skanky girlfriends hangout. Wasn't someone shot here a couple years ago? If you want to look cool, hang out here, but don't expect to be served anytime soon. The waitresses will only wait on you if you give them a joint.
The place fits it's name perfectly. With any keg, the swill is at the bottom. The dungeon bar downstairs serves basic beer and bar food wtih cocktail waitresses. As you rise to the main floor which is the bar/music area, it is alittle lighter, frothy, and the service is alittle better and the food comes quicker. Upstairs is the cream of the Keg. The best part. The service is excellent, the food divine, and the ambiance is alot brighter, and what you would want in a nice restaurant. So depending where you sit, is where you are in the keg. Are you swill or cream?
We have Hy's in Honolulu and we expected a great meal, great service, and a nice ambiance. We were totally blown away by the service, the food, and the ambiance. Everyone was fantastic. The food was exceptional, and the waiters were a blast. We had a huge party of 38, and they treated us like we were their family. Thanks, Hy's for a perfect Whistler experience. This place definitely should be on everyone's go to list.
Earl's is the kind of restaurant that you could bring your kids, a date, your parents, or a best friend and still have fun. The waiters and management are top notch and cheerful. Loved the food and oh...my...god...the desserts are to die for. The only drawback is finding the bathroom. It feels like you are walking a long distance and not sure if you'll find your way back. Plus it's scary for females. My husband scared a women coming out of the bathroom, cause it was so dark. Hope management lightens it up back there.
If this place was in the middle of Whistler Village, there would be some serious lines out the door all the way from the lifts. They really outdo themselves. They are all made to order with their vast toppings and sauces. There is something there for everyone. My husband was sick in bed and as soon as he ate one, he took me shopping!!
