I love Turks, it's my new favorite *spot*. I go there to meet people for coffee all the time and I love that it's so central on the Drive, right across from the park. You can sit outside or inside OR inside near the big windows that offer a lovely breeze and a good look outside to watch the passerby. I've been in there when it was dead and when it was really busy and I love it.

I don't drink their coffee but I've had their latte's, steamed milk and teas as well as some of their assorted goodies and they are lovely. The Toffee Peanut butter bar was awesome! Their cinnamon buns always look so good, if I didn't have to worry about the sugar I'd eat one for sure!

But with a little more choice...not bad, good for 'on the run' and it's not too expensive. The bathroom is gross though, don't use it if you don't have to.

The pile the food on so you get what you pay and the girls seem to be nice that serve there. MSG laden but most places are like that anyway, and sometimes I just like having that MSG fix...

I wouldn't go there if I didn't have to...

I go here every so often because they often hold the Queer Open Mic Night at this location and even though we have to pay a fee to get in (which in turn goes to the resturant to use the space) the lady who owns if often will force the patrons to order a seven dollar limit.

The prices are a little steep for what you get but it's okay food. I wouldn't make it a place I go all the time but it's somewhere, if you're looking for a pricey, but only decent meal, then stop by.

The ambiance is nice though, so if you're in to it, it might make up for the lack of service...

...eat here at least once...for sure on a Sunday morning when there's a eclectic mix of young kids hung over and munching their way out of headaches, families on their way out for a day of fun, and the old regulars enjoying a cup of joe.

Great breakfast. I'd stay away from mostly everything else on the menu, but good meal for three dollars and a tip. :)

This will be an always favorite. From the great priced lunch menu to the drink specials, Xcite is a great place to eat, have a drink or just hang out. Their burgers are yummy as are their appy's. The calamari is a great price for what you receive. I love Wednesday nights because their chicken souvlaki platter is super cheap and worth ten dollars if that's how much you had to pay for it! The best part is isn't only five dollars. :D

The atmosphere was lovely and the food wasn't too bad, it was pub food, I wasn't expecting anything special, though the prices were a little high for what we actually received.

Our waitress left the devil to be desired and the service was absolutely unacceptable. We were a party of more then eight, so they don't do separate cheques, which, is fine, but when she informed us of this she was rather snarky. It's not like it was written anywhere on the menu or walls and we only inquired once.

She was slow, and didn't bother coming back to find out if we were okay or the food was good or not. She also was really rude about the fact that one of our seat mates was SEVERLY allergic to peanuts and eggs. She was crass with us about it and careless when she served us to the point where we had to send his meal back because not only did it seem to have peanuts in it, it had egg...

All in all I'd never return. I know of much better establishments that will be well worth the money I spent on our evening there.
