I'd always eat the deserts and pastries, i was a picky child didn't like much healthy food. So i dont remember the perogies or cabbage rolls but my grandmother and my father would always eat those 2 specific dishes when we would come there... I remember a lady who was very friendly always smiling... and gave great service. The ambience isn't too delightful, but this place has been there for years it is small & cozy.
I'll never forget this place.
I went to Burger Burger for my first time last summer and oh my ever since than i am addicted. Cheap price, awesome burger loaded and fresh. Combo with a can of pop, cheaper than Mcdicks and way more delicious, well obviously thats a given. They are an older oriental couple, always smiling and friendly. I wont ever stop going there, they have my vote for best burger in new west at the best price!
The price is right, the food is good. Although the service isn't the greatest, when taking a order right it down so you get it right. The waitress screwed up about 3 things on 1 order. I mean what kind of service is that? People have allergies, so write down the order and get it right. Other than that the food is good and cheap, place is a little bit older, but known for its breakfasts. Pass on the chinese food, its not quite authentic.
I have been going here for 7 years! Same owners, awesome people. Very friendly, welcoming. Not the most appealing place, but very clean, a little bit older. Always delicious tasteful food, the best! Always fresh, and very satisfying! The price is amazingly cheap for the quality of the food. I give it an over all rating of 9 out of 10, other than the ambiance of the place, it isn't the most appealing place. Although you wont regret going here!
My boyfriend and i went there earlier to go for a quick bite to eat. Yes, you get a large ammount for a cheap price, but not only is the price cheap the food is cheap itself. It had no taste, the fried rice was gross ... all in all it was awful, Never again.
My choice for cheap chinese food is Mr.Wu's on edmonds across from Value village @ Edmonds & Kingsway. Cheap, Great food, Awesome service.
