Decided to check this place out after seeing the patio packed every time we walked by on the sea wall. Apparently they just opened a few weeks ago so the menu is still limited, but what they had seemed pretty decent. (We tried the 1lb peel and eat shrimp and halibut fish and chips)
We were very happy with the food, however there was some issues getting service after we told the server we were going to move indoors when it became too cold outside. There must have been some miss communication after that, because it took a long time to finally get someone to take our order and even after that there seemed to be some delays and mix ups. The staff and manager however were very apologetic after they realized the mix up, and very kind to comp one of our meals.
All in all the food we had was very good, and we will try them again but perhaps stay at our first table to avoid confusion next time.

Tried Kadoya for the first time last night and I'm already craving for the house rolls again. I went in expecting the service to be so so and for them to rush at the end, but personally I'm one of those people that likes to get my bill as soon as I'm done eating, so I'm ok with the rush. You just need to make sure you don't give the impression that you are getting ready to leave if you still intend to pick at your food for a bit.
Over all the service was fine though, no bitchy servers, and I did end up asking for water. The friend I was with goes often and says that they have some bad servers there ruin the reputation for the rest of them.
