I recently visited this little place to have dinner with a few friends, the service was poor, we waited 15 mins for chips and salsa and then we got out food and the plates were cold, certainly microwaved food. The soup was ok, but had better at other mexican restaurants. The decor could use a makeover... kind of bland. Not licensed so was kind of disappointed that we drank pop with Mexican food and not a good cold corona. Waitress was kind of snotty when we asked for more chips and salsa... as if they had a short supply of them.
Over all... disappointed ... expecially reading about it!
This place needs some growing up as it is new and i think the fame went to their heads.
Wont be back

I recently went with a few friends to this place and was very dissapointed. Along with others, we waited 45 mins for our food and there was only two other tables there. We felt like we were being avoided. I have been here before, and thought things have changed... but in no way they did. I am a Mexican food lover and this place disappointed me. I have tried the Margaritas and it seem that they forgot the Tequila.....? How could they!
The food was good... only because we were all starving to death and the service.....well..... thats another story. Others be warned... you will wait for your food. The only best Mexican in Vancouver... is Casa de Amigos... no one has come close to it.

I found this place from the newspaper articles over the Taco war. It has a very comfortable atmosphere and excellent food. They are becoming well known for the $1.50 tacos (cheapest anywhere in Vancouver). The music is great and the staff are very friendly and great service. They make you feel like you are a valuable customer. Great place to have a great time.
