Love the new cook at the Cheese. Our family has been going here for the last 10yrs and the changes that happened in the last 4 months have been welcomed! It's always been a good solid no frills English Pub but the food did go downhill for a little while but with the new cook, yummmmers!
We look forward to trying out the specials on the board. I love the Lamb Burger with it's own homemade bun. Really tasty!
The Bison Stampede Burger, which was a special one nite, was a real hit, really juicy and the fried egg on top was what absolutely drove it over the top for me.
The dessert menu has definitely been spiced up. The Chocolate truffle cake was lovely, not sickening sweet and the cake was dry either, yummmers!
My daughter really enjoys the new fish and chip(well we substitue chips with cooked veggies - she liked the yellow beets!
It still has a lot of the good ol British Pub food, I still like my chicken pot pie(now called Charter pie) and bangers and mash!
