I love getting take-out from Kisoya! I've only tried their various sushi rolls but they have the best dynamite roll anywhere in PoCo and everything is really fresh. I think you get a good bang for your buck, obviously the lobster roll and some of the other fancy ones are a little pricey, but totally worth it. The restaurant is small but clean and everyone who works there is really friendly. If you want fresh, quality sushi, I highly recommend giving Kisoya a try.
The Gillnetter Pub is an old favorite for many Poco locals and I definitely encourage everyone to check it out. The food is excellent; they have a seafood clubhouse that is loaded with fresh shrimp and real crab - a must try for seafood lovers! Appy's are 2 for 1 Mon-Fri from 3pm to 6pm and various daily specials. Sundays are for their famous brunch - breakfast items (the BEST eggs benny) including omeletts made to suit and fresh fruit and pastries for dessert (it's only $9.95 and all-you-can-eat). Did I mention the ambiance? Breathtaking; on a sunny day, sit outside on the patio with a view of the river or inside is old school marine memorabilia with a comfortable feel. The servers are really good for the most part, I've only had one occasion where the girl didn't get around for more drink orders often enough, but that happens at any restaurant. Oh, and the desserts! If you can save enough room or split with someone, pretty fancy for a pub and soooo good!
