I have dreams where I crave the sushi here.
Submitted Friday, January 27, 2012 - 11:50am [Dine in]

Ro is hands down my favourite sushi place. When I lived in the area we ate in or took out every week or two. All of our friends also love the sushi here. Now that we live further away we are here less often but as often as we can find a reason to be in the area.
Our favourite rolls over the year and today (hoping for sushi tonight)
- Papaya tuna- the papaya balances of the tuna nicely and melts in your mouth
-Salmon mango- simple and fresh combo of fruit and fish
- Saskatchewan- incredible veggi roll topped with thinly sliced 'hay' potatoes, so so good
- Popeye- gomae roll with avocado
- Amber- mango, tuna, salmon with spicy temp bit. Really tasty.
- Green hornet- my husband's favourite like a dynamite roll with avacado and sauce
- Alberta- beef and asparagus with avocado very addicting

So good here. I can't wait to eat some soon.

We wanted to try somewhere new and within walking distance. I searched and found this lovely little restaurant set inside a heritage style home. We went just before 8 on a Friday and were the one of two tables eating in. You order at the counter and then we chose the window table. The restaurant had a nice cozy interior with candle light.
The person working did it all took our orders, cooked and served. He was very friendly and gave good service. He was also very good in the kitchen. My pasta dish had nice pieces of grilled tuna and my husband's burger was juicy and tasty.
We will be back to try it again nice place with good food.

Happy that Groupon introduced me to a restaurant I would never have found.

I went to Eh! for lunch today and was really impressed with the food and value. We started with a glass of wine each, the wine list was limited with three red and three white but at $4 for a generous glass I was ok with the limited selection. They also had Kokanee on for $3 a glass and Mojitos on for $4, pretty darn good for drink specials. For lunch I had a steak wrap and my husband had grilled lamb chops both dishes were nice sized portions and very filling. We each had a second glass of wine with our food. Oh I should note that they have information on the menu about their efforts to source food locally and have a roof garden etc. Nice to see the environment being considered in their practices.

The serving staff that we interacted with all seemed to be ESL students they were were super friendly and attentive but never pushy. It should be noted that the restaurant was inside an ESL school and a form Sushi restaurant. The atmosphere is ok nothing special but comfortable stools, good food and great prices will have us coming back.

Cheers and well done all around.

A Wonderful Stop In
Submitted Thursday, August 12, 2010 - 9:04pm [Dine in]

We have eaten here on three other occasions but I have always done it as a plan ahead and called with reservations a week in advance. Tuesday I just didn't feel like cooking so we wandered in to see if there would be a spot at the bar.

We started with a cocktail each I had the Sangria style one and my husband had the sidecar, both were good I think I will go with the sidecar next time. The bartender took care of us all evening he provided wonderful service, when we asked his opinion on two wines he poured samples of both for us to try and shared his insight which was great service.

We shared the special of mussels for our starter they were so good, the sausage and sauce and mussels cooked just perfectly. I can't wait to try them again.

For dinner I had the quail special and my husband had the lamb. Both were incredible but I thought the quail was on another level it was perhaps the best meal I have had in several years. The lamb was good and my husband thought it was even better than the quail but we can't agree on everything.

For desert we split a creme brulee. We left incredibly satisfied slightly intoxicated off the bottle of wine and cocktails and already planning our next visit. (We walked so no worries on the drinking)

I just can't say enough good things about this place. Every time we have had great service and wonderful food, but this most recent time was the best on all accounts. Really lovely little place. I am so happy they are located close enough to go again soon.
