We wanted to go for dim sum but got there too late. We ordered some lunch items such as crab claw, fish maw soup with crab and a noodle dish. Everything was over salted even my husband who uses soya on all his food said it was salty even for him. It just killed any flavor whatsoever. The portion wasn't worth the price we paid either.
The place is modern with linen tablecloth which is a plus. The lady owner came over and said hello.
First impression wasn't so good so maybe go there and try dim sum only to see if it is any better.
We went to Kosta since we have been there before. The place was very busy due to Christmas parties but we were seated right away. Service was good.
Dining at a greek restaurant I ordered roast lamb and my other half ordered new york steak. We enjoyed the salad. The lamb was so dry and so tasteless. Needless to say I was so disappointed. Greek restaurant usually have tzatziki
with lamb. Mine never came with but the other steak dinner did. The new york steak doesn't need it so he gave me his. Like I said the meat was so dry even with the tzatziki didn't help the situation any.Paying 17.95 for the dinner was ridicious. Most places are more like 13.95 for the same thing.I asked for more tzatsiki sauce which I figure I eat a little more. When we got our bill they charged $1 for the extra sauce. I don't usually mind paying for something but that is pretty cheap on their part.
Won't be back there again. It was one of my favorite places for greek.
First of all, I read all the reviews. We came here one evening for dinner. The restaurant was so cold and so noisy for there were kids running around with no supervision from their parents. Not restaurant fault I know.
We ordered the usual dishes like peking duck, appetizer combo, scallops with vegetables, crispy chicken, and more. We were not impressed with the dishes.Peking duck was so so, appetizer came to us in the middle of the meal, doesn;t it usually come at the beginning of the meal. The scallops were very small portion (not even to go around for our table of 8),chicken was over cooked and very dry. The soup was the only decent thing that we ordered. No "wok hay" as one mentioned.
The service wasn't great even.
We have been several times before. It was never my favorite restaurant but there is nothing around this area half decent. It never got any better. so why it is so popular? Every body must have different taste buds or was is a bad night again.
Dim is also very pricy for what you get.
No more for this place for me...
We came here for bit to eat late Friday nite. Nothing else is open. Surprised to see it's so busy at this time.
We ordered a plate of seafood chow mein. It was so bland. So no taste. It had a few shrimps scallops and some squid. Definitely wasn't worth the price. ($13.) I hope other dishes are better.
After reading all the reviews, we gave it a try.
The waiting time was as long as expected.
After we finally got our table, the waiter took our orders. It wasn't too long we got our soup and breadsticks. Breadsticks were cold and dry.We were still working on our soup he brought out the entrees. What was the rush??
We were disappointed with the pasta dish. Nothing special. Pretty pricy for what you get.
Sorry won't be back again. Once enough.
We have been to this restaurant for dim sum several times. The food is quite good. The service is descent.
We came here and ordered the dinner for 10. The service was very slow. It took over 1/2 before the first dish came out. We were there for 2 hours plus. Everything ok.
When we got the bill, they charged for tea which was usual...
For dim sum at lunch it is standard. $.80 per person. but for dinner this is the first...WTF?????
we came from surrey for dimsum on the weekend. from the reviews it seemed like a good place to go.the lineup was very long, waited for over an hour. no big deal..expected it. the service wasn't the greatest. The food was very disappointing.everything was either lukewarm or cold. we didn't enjoy it at all.you don't mind waiting for good dimsum but never again to this place.
We stopped by at Hon's for lunch before dropping relatives off at the airport. Hon's is well known like all their locations. We figured you can't go wrong......
We ordered congee, chow mein and some other dishes. The congee is so gross. If you want to eat Elmer's paste then I would recommend it. Being Chinese, I know what I am talking about. It is not the real thing.
They must have put it in the blender or some how pulsifed the crap out of it. There was not a trace of rice in it. Isn't it suppose to be rice soup. Disgusting.......The other dishes were fine.
Service was ok.
We were in the area and craving vietnamese food. With the name of the restaurant we gave it a try. The service was slow even though it wasn't busy. We finally got the menu.
We ordered the beef noodle soup which you can't really go wrong. But this place...I don't know...They better take lessons from another pho place...It was absolutely tasteless. They didn't give us the bean sprouts, lime, and basil leaves that normally come with....
Will never go back again.
