Got tired of reading negative reviews. Them folk don't know what they're talking about.
I've been coming to Foundation for 4 years now and NEVER have a I had a bad experience. Yah, sometimes the service is a little slow, but only if it's slammin in there, and that's completely understandable. But never is the service rude or unfriendly.
The food is amazing. I've never eaten something I don't like there, and I've had just about everything on the menu by now.
The kitchen staff are awesome, and MUCH cleaner than any you might find in a closed concept kitchen at another restaraunt. They're also quick and really good at what they do.
Go ahead and try something other than the nachos, you may find yourself delighted.
And the atmosphere of the place isn't meant to be trendy or kitch (for all you who expect it to be) it's meant to inspire you, and if you look at the walls - and have half a brain - it will.
Cheer up, this place is friggin awesome.

I waited 45 minutes for a table. Looking around there were PLENTY of open tables available. About 8 I counted.
When inquiring as to why I couldn't be seated at any one of those tables and had to wait 45 minutes for the 3 people ahead of me to be seated I was told that the servers need time to get to the other tables first.
Apparently they need about 10 minutes between seating tables so they can "get to everyone".
Ok, if your servers are that incompetant that they can't serve more than one table at a time, GET NEW ONES! Any other pub or restaraunt that is seat yourself has servers who are capable of serving their entire section even if they all sit down at once. It's what the job entails. It's called time management. I know, because I work in a pub and grill nearby and it gets VERY busy.
It's easy: go to one table, take their drink order, go to the next, take theirs and so on and so forth, then go to your computer, punch it all in and when the bartender finishes making them, take them all out at one time on those handy trays to your tables. Then you do the same with food orders.
And for gods sake quality check once in a while. I didn't have my server come back to my table one single time. She took the orders, then some guy brought my food and i didn't see her again until I got my bill.
This place is a joke, and I hope their servers never go on to work somewhere that doesn't have hostesses...they'll cry.
