Had better..but wouldn't go out of my way to go there unless you live nearby

There are so many Pho/Vietnamese restaurants in town that it must be hard to compete. Went to this location for the 1st time a few weeks back.

Lots of selection on the menu, odd shape layout of restaurant leaves for a few tight spots. A bit higher pricing compared to other locations in Vancouver (Kingsway).

Service is what you'd expect some Vietnamese restaurants. Once you get your food, they pretty much leave you alone. They do take credit/debit which is again rare for these restaurants.

Food was good and tasty which satisfied the tummy.

15 years later and still the same

Been coming here for over 15 years, and the food remains the same quality (outstanding). Lots of great Pho shops around town for the most part, can't go wrong, but this one stands out becuase they seem to use the least MSG compared to other Pho shops I've been too. Great selection of authentic cuisines and has the best 3 bean drink that I've found so far. Dinner for two without desert will run you sub $16 easily...before tip/tax. And you'll come out full and satisfied.

Service is fast, but once you get your food don't expect them to come by to ask you how things are. They rarely do. Seems to be the case with most Pho shops.

Other thing is, cash only..no Visa or debit. There is a bank nearby.

If you're dining alone, you can always watch some classic Vietamese TV on the 46" flatscreen.

Standard pub quality and service, Wings were a joke

Food and ambience is what you'd expect from a local pub. My only issue was the wings. When you order them, they come served with the sauce of your choice on the side. I'm no wings connoisseur, but anytime I've ever ordered wings, they are coated with the sauce when they arrive at your table. I find they taste much better than when you dip them. Something to do with the sauce soaking into the meet and bones I guess.

Anyways, if thats your thing and you like sauce on the side then this is your place.

Great buffet selection
Submitted Wednesday, March 3, 2010 - 5:16pm [Dine in]

Discovered this place a few years back. Great view of downtown. Its a big restaurant so never a wait in line. We've only gone there for the buffet. Service is ok, but not great as others have noted. Mind you, with buffet style you're pretty much on your own, but they can sometimes forget to come by and refresh your drinks.

The buffet selection is decent with all the popular Indian dishes such as Butter chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Kaali Daal (black lentils), Naan (leavened Indian flatbread) etc..In addition the buffet includes the salad bar, and deserts (jello, rice pudding, fruit etc)

Pricing has gone up abit over the last couple years. I think the buffet is close to $20/person with tip included..which I guess isn't bad considering.

Free parking underground after 6pm which is an added bonus as street parking can be hard to find on busy nights in the city.
