Well worth a visit!

My boyfriend and I were out for a walk one day and just happened to walk past this restaurant. I grew up in a small town where native cuisine was abundant so definitely wanted to check this place out. We went back a couple of weeks later and it did not disappoint. I had the wild sockeye salmon with creamy dill sauce which included roasted potatoes, cauliflower and carrots as well as a fresh bannock. My boyfriend had the bison cheese burger on bannock with sweet potato wedges. The service was very attentive and the food fresh and well made. I would highly recommend checking this restaurant out. My only regret was that we were too full to try the bannock bread pudding!

It's Not So Bad

I agree with previous reviews that the Arms Pub is "rough around the edges" and I definitely wouldn't go for ambience (although I love the people watching). That being said, it's a pub and I have definitely been in worse with higher prices. The prices at the Arms are great- Entrees costing no more than $10 with good portion sizes (my favourite is the Prime Rib burger and Fries which is only $6 and when on special only $4.50!!). The wings are awesome and on wing days are only 25cents each. Beer is on special for $2 a glass several times a week (can't beat that!) and highballs are always around $4 (They may be in small glasses, but i always find them quite strong).
If you're looking for good food and drinks in PoCo at a good price I would definitely check it out.

Lookie, after reading your post below, i would love to know what you continue to order that is just "SO amazing"?
I have to say that I agree with most other posters in saying that i feel as though I am paying for the ambiance. If there really is something on the menu that is worth the price that Samz has chosen to charge I would really like to know what it is. I really do hope that this pub can get their act together, we need somewhere nice in PoCo!
