Us 3 girls met at the Sandpiper for lunch. The service was wonderful, the young lady who served us was very accomodating. The food was wonderful, I had the Reuben sandwich, it was a bit tiny would have been nicer served on larger bread, maybe sourdough but the taste was wonderful except I think they used processed swiss cheese??? The fries are good but too many of them! My sister had the chowder and she loved it, especially the fact that it had no bacon in it, cousin had the burger and was pleased with it. It was a cold day but the view was marvelous. The bathrooms could use a little reno and the interact machine wasn't working. All in all I would love to come back in the summer and try more of their menu items
We went for the AYCE last night, wonderful service, all of our dishes arrived in a timely manner. A little higher price wise for AYCE but the quality is exeptional. Could use more ambiance, a little less sterile environment but the food made up for it. Fairly busy for a Sunday evening in sleepy Poco! The food was so fresh, the tuna sashimi was the best I have ever had, just melted in my mouth. They have some very interesting rolls as well. We were all well fed by the time we left.
9 of dined here on a Wednesday evening. Wait time was about 30 minutes. The food was incredible, the mussels were outstanding, probably the plumpest mussels I have ever had and so juicy. The veal was mouthwatering and the pasta was perfect. It was a little warm, they have a small air conditioner but the front door was always open. The restaurant was tiny and packed with people, all seemingly enjoying it. Service is very slow but also very attentive. Would definately return. Had enough leftovers for lunch the next day!
Had an incredibly and very satisfying breakfast this morning, the specialty cut fresh fruit was a wonderful addition to my platter. Way too much food on the plate and all was very fresh and tasty. Would definately go back.
