Caesar's Restaurant3880 Steveston Highway, Richmond
Possibly the best brunch in town???
Submitted Saturday, September 29, 2012 - 2:49pm [Dine in]

I have heard from many local stevestonites about how great Caesar's Brunch is, so I thought I’d give it a try.
Honestly, I was hoping for a buffet, however when I arrived I found out quickly that they do not offer a buffet. But I decided to give it a shot anyways. I ordered their traditional eggs benedicts, my mother had the French toast and my grandpa had their spinach omelets. At first I thought the food was taking a bit too long but when the food came I realized why. The portions of our meals were very large. The benedicts and omelets came with a ton of fresh delicious fruit, and home made potatoes. The French toast was covered with slices of strawberries, bananas, and blueberries. You can tell they spent an extra few minutes to present each dish spectacularly. I guarantee you a plate like this anywhere else would be double the price. So yes to answer my question, I do think Caesars has the best brunch in town.

I have been coming to Caesars for quite some time now and I have to say it is always a pleasure. I took a glimpse at what others have written about Caesars and as someone who has worked in the industry for a long time I have a few things I’d like to say. I order their pizza almost once a week. And when I see people complaining about the price of their pizzas it makes me realize how naive some people you can be when it comes to costs of food. When you take a bite of their pizza, you know their crust is homemade and fresh. As well as the amount of products they put on their pizza is how a pizza should be made. When they say it has ham and pepperoni, you will find each item covering the entire pizza and not just spread around. Sure you can go to browns for a $14 pizza or order a pizza from dominos, but the amount of toppings you find on their pizza is equivalent to two slices at Caesars. Plus I am stuffed of a small Caesars masterpiece (my favorite) and I could easily take down a large pepperoni from Dominos.

I'd go back if they sold pitchers!!!
Submitted Thursday, May 13, 2010 - 8:08pm [Dine in]

I just dont get why they don't sell pitchers and local brew. All there beers are there homemade beers which i guess is a good strategy for the franchise to make more money and i guess buying glasses is more expensive then buying pitchers but shouldn't there priority be keeping there customers happy and wanting to go back?? We had a good time when we were there, we had a funb time ordering there special shots and trying there awesome appys but it ended up being very expensive for what we got. The service was awesome but mit wshould be because it's such a small place. The owner was a cool guy, he even offered me a job. The food was good but was it worth it's price? Nope.

Shitty food for it's value but it looks awesome
Submitted Thursday, May 13, 2010 - 7:56pm [Dine in]

My nefew attends University of Victoria so i decided to take him and his roommates out for dinner while i was there for the weekend. We went to applebees because it was just around the corner of the university. When we first walked it i thought to myself that the colors and menu's and atmospher was awesome. They have these speakers at every table and you can choose which tv you want to listen too. But after that everything went down hill. The steak i ordered tasted like it was thawed out in the morning from the freezer, the prawns were little mini ones that tasted like rubber. I don't know how the americans like there food but here in canada we want little grease with a great taste. This American franchise should just go home!!!

Good night with the boys

We went there not expecting much because our friends had said it was just ok, and it was just that. The food good for it's price but nothing amazing, the casual atmospher was cool. The great part about it was the televisions, awesome view to watch the games no matter where you are sitting. I would go there again just because of the service. As a waiter i always expect the service that i serve at. However the service here was awesome. The waitress was on the ball (Melissa) she was there as soon as we finished our drinks to get us refils and she actually cared about us; maybe it was because she wants a good tip but who cares, the service was still amazing.

My Girlfriend and i decided to go to the keg after we finished a long day of work. When we got there it was very busy but there was room at the bar so we sat there. The bartender that was got was Charmain, she was outstanding. We decided to screw waiting for a table and just have charmain serve us. The food was awesome the atmosphere was solid and we just had a good time overall. The keg is and will always be one of my favorite spots in richmond.

Meh....

It was alright, the food was ok, the waitress was hot... We only went because cactus club was full. Sammy J's was busy but the waitress couldnt handle the small section she had. We were pretty pissed off when she forgot our pitcher on 2 seperate occasions. The atmosphere was fun because fo the hockey game but that is expected. the pasta was pretty plain with little flavour, i asked for it spicy and it was definitely not. The waitress didn't even come by to see how our food was till after i was 3/4 done and i was not going to send it back because i am a cook and i know how it looks to send back food that is 3/4 done. I wouldnt go to sammy j's again, i would rather wait in the 90min line up for cactus club.
