I like this place but i do think it is overpriced. I used to live in Singapore a while back and fell in love with the Hainanese chicken rice there. So when i moved to Vancouver , I tried to look for a place that I can taste the same flavour of Hnese chicken once again and so far this place is the best. Every time i go i order half a chicken and 3 rice to share with my bf. I tried their laksa before but nothing really impressive. The vegetable dishes are expensive about 8 bucks or more for a plate of stirfried curried vegetable and I agree that the drinks are over-priced ,too. So asides from the chicken rice i think the rest of their menu is not that great. I like their new location, nice and bright and service is pretty good

i used to live in the area and come here every so often and still do once in a while. I agree that the portion is generous here but it used to be even bigger before. If you want cheap sushi or u have a party and want to order one or two trays of sushi then this is the place . However , if you want good service and expect really outstanding sushi then this is not the place for you. I mostly come here becoz its cheap and convenient, other than that im not really impressed as im not a big fan of huge portion. Their service sucks, those girls working there never smile and they dont always have enough staff. I once came there with my bf and after we ordered we sat there for a while and noone gave us chopsticks or tea or anything, not even when the food got to the table . The server gave us a funny look when she brought the food to us and found out that we didnt get our chopsticks yet. I guess they r busy because ppl come there for cheap food and there r not a lot of good jpnese places in that area. Other than that i cant figure out why this place is packed
