as a donair/falafel place the ambiance/price is typical, nothing close to impressive here.
The service is polite. I've seen many regulars even though I've only been here a couple times, you can tell by the greetings.
The mixed falafel is the only thing i've gotten, haven't tried the recommended lamb yet. The garlic sauce is great not a huge fan of the hot sauce though, so i ask for a little less. And a recommendation to those who don't like a soggy falafel ask for it TOASTED mmm good.
the beer menu is extensive, i found it very difficult to select a beer, then i remembered i could always have more than one.
The place was packed, somehow our server found a way to manage.
Also, before we got seated, a guy snuck in front of us and got his name on the waitlist, the attentive greeter later asked if we were ahead of him and got us in first.
Food was hit and miss, mostly a hit, only miss was the calamari.
Drink was great, the variety exceptional.
Even though it was extremely busy and somewhat noisy we could have a conversation without the need to yell across the table.
The pho is really good especially when you consider the options in the area.
The service is minimal, they point you to your seat, you place an order it gets brought to you and you go up to pay your bill. I don't mind it, because i go for the food and the conversations with the people I'm with.
I don't recommend this place if you are looking for good/great service or ambiance. I do recommend if all you want to be left to yourselves to enjoy pho.
been here twice, can't get a better deal anywhere else for the quality of food and low price. less than $6 for a bacon or mushroom cheeseburger, fries and a can o pop. the ambiance isn't the greatest but better than some places i've been. the food is cooked and prepared when ordered, and really good, the fries are of the fresh cut variety so extra marks there.
will definately go back for more burger burger, and recommended it to everyone as a better alternative to the regular fast food "restaurants".
